    Educational Qualification

  • MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India

  • Experience Requirements

  • General Practitioner: Minimum 2 years clinical experience after completing rotatory internship
  • Specialist: Minimum 3-5 years post-specialization clinical experience
  • Consultant: Minimum 5-8 years post-specialization experience
  • Experience must be in a recognized hospital or healthcare facility
  • Internship period is NOT counted as experience

    Is there an age limit for DHA exam?

    There is no official age limit set by DHA for taking the exam. However, most Dubai hospitals prefer candidates below 55 years. Some hospitals have age limits for specific positions.

    Can GNM nurses apply for DHA?

    Yes, GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) diploma holders can apply for DHA. They need 2 years experience and must meet all other eligibility criteria including English proficiency.

    Is internship counted as experience?

    No, the mandatory rotatory internship after MBBS is NOT counted as clinical experience. You need 2 years of post-internship experience.

    Can fresh graduates apply?

    No, you need minimum 2 years clinical experience after graduation for most professions.

    Is IELTS mandatory for DHA?

    For nurses, yes – IELTS or OET is mandatory. For doctors, it's not always required by DHA but many employers prefer it.

    Can I apply without DataFlow?
